Welcome to The Richardson House History Page. Like so much of Truckee and the Sierra Nevada mountain towns, The Richardson House too, has it's place in history. Please visit this page frequently to learn along with us as we continue to uncover the historical secrets of The Richardson House and history that makes the region such a rich place.

First Year Anniversary Open House a Huge Success!

Our Anniversary Celebration and Open House turned out well!  We gave tours of The Richardson House to over seventy people.  Local artists displayed their work in our beautifully blooming yard and Girl Scouts were serving cold lemonade to our guests.  Because of the great turn out, we were able to donate over one hundred dollars to the Truckee Donner Historical Society.   We wanted to thank all the artists, TDHS volunteers, Girl Scouts and Truckee Residents for the wonderful support they gave us by being there.  Did you miss the event but still would like to tour The House?  Contact Chelsea anytime to set up a private tour of The Richardson House.
