Social Mountain Bike Ride - Sept. 14
Sawtooth Ridge Trail. 5:45 pm. Free.
Tahoe Big Blue Adventure Races - Sept. 17
Northstar-at-Tahoe. Sprint (2-4 hour finish) and Classic (6-9 hour finish) adventure. Solo competitors or teams of two, three and four participate in kayaking, mountain biking, and trail running.
TOCCATA Presents: 9/11 Memorial Concert Series - Sept. 17
North Tahoe Events Center, Kings Beach. 3 pm. $30. Violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn performing Mozart’s Concerto for Violin #3 in G major. Toccata will also perform Beethoven’s masterpiece Symphony #9 in D minor and features the Tahoe Symphony Orchestra Chorus
Trails and Vistas " Reflections & Rythms" - Sept. 17-18
Spooner Lake. Various times. $30 adults/$10 children. 2 1/2 mile Art hike with dance, music, poetry and art. **The Richardson House is a proud sponsor of the Trails and Vistas Art Hike**
Truckee Peace Day Celebration - Sept. 21
Truckee River Regional Park Amphitheater. 4 to 8 pm. Speakers, musicians and artist to perform.
Tahoe Sierra Century Ride - Sept. 24
Squaw Valley USA. 7 am. Bike ride with scenic routes, challenging hill climbs, full support services, food and music. All proceeds go to our local middle and high school music programs.
KidZone Dragonfly Benefit Dinner - Sept. 24
Dragonfly Restaurant and Sushi Bar. 5 to 9 pm.
Grape Stomp - Sept. 30
Truckee River Winery. 4 to 7 pm. Teams of four compete for slop, style and stain awards.
